Digital Literacy project and E-library establishment at Rukum.
Even though there was a system of Computer Education at Shree Mahakali Higher Secondary School in Sisnekhola of Rukum, which hosted 500 students from various marginalized groups and poor families, before we established our project, it remained limited only to theory lessons. Since the students were lagging behind in terms of facilities related to technology, we believed that our venture in making positive progress would be helpful in improving the background of the school as well. Therefore, we believed that our endeavor to make the school resourceful for the benefit of the students would prove to be fruitful and today, we feel proud to say that it did.
We were able to establish an well equipped IT lab comprising of 10 computers in Shree Mahakali Secondary School located in Rukum district. The huge success of Digital Literacy Project-Rukum has motivated us to unite again and work to uplift poor and marginalised group. Our next mission is to install solar panels in a very remote village of Mid-western Nepal (Chuga, Mugu). We have named it as "Light for the Better Life".
Here are some of the photos of our past project.
